Opening a file

Someone I work with accidentally (and I'm not exactly sure
how) opened an Excel document in Word. Is there anyway to
convert it back to a Word document (without too much
hassle)? Thanks!

so it was opened in Word (and saved within Word). If yes no chance to
get it back to an Excel document
