opened message is transparent

I have a user using Outlook 2002. When she opens certain messages, the
message appears to be transparent; you can see all the stuff behind the
message, like the inbox with all the other messages. This only happens
sometimes and it's not always the same person sending the message. I've done
"repair office" & scanpst, etc., but nothing helps.

Windows transparency is not an option you can set in any version of Outlook.
However, there are many 3rd party tools out there which can do that
including some graphic card drivers offering that option (like nView when
you have an NVIDIA card).
