"open-with" window... doesn't open??!!

help .. please.
when i plug my camera into my computer, the window that says "open-with"
doesn't come up !!!! i've tested my camera on my lap top.. and it works
just fine. And i can also put in a picture cd into my computer, and that
window comes up asking what to 'open-with" !!!
Any suggestions from anyone would be greatly appreciated!!!!

When your camera is plugged in, look in My Computer and see if a drive
letter has been assigned to your camera. If so, right-click on the drive
letter and select properties. Then Autoplay and there you will find the
settings you require.
