Open picture folders

I recently edited one of my digital photos. When I went to look at it the
error message: 'The ordinal 6880 could not be located in the DLL MFC42.DLL.'
All of the folders in my 'Digital picture' folder that I created in 'My
pictures' are affected. Whenever I enter one of these folders, the message
comes up and closes 'my pictures'. Could someone please tell me what is
going on and how I can fix it!

The application is finding an older version to what it expects. Search for the file and compare versions.
 
I searched for the picture and it came up with 2. I deleted one but it got
rid of both of them. They were both identical and I restored them. They're
both coming up again now when I search. I have no problem opening any of my
pictures in my photo editing software, 'photoimpression'. I tried saving the
picture again but it didn't do anything to help. I really don't have a clue
what else to do.
 
Search for the dll file not the picture. Make sure you tick the advanced options in search.
 
I've searched for the DLL file with advanced options on and it found nothing.
