Open new window freeze - IE 6 sp1, W2k sp4

When i right click a link and select "Open in new browser
window" my computer stops responding, i cannot use IE
during this. But, i can get out of this by right
clicking on the IE box on the taskbar, IE then jumps to life and
opens the new window. This is a very annoying problem
since whenever any popups or pages that open thier own
windows causes this freeze/hang/unresponsivenes

This can be because:

a) Your Temporary Internet Files folder is too big. Try clearing it out and
consider reducing the size of it.

b) You have spyware on your PC - consider downloading Spybot and Lavasfot's
Adware - I used both as both seem to pick up different things - and run them
both to remove any spyware.
