open link in new window PPS

whenever i try to change the target of a link using the
powerpoint script editor to open the link in a new window
(target="_blank). when i save it, PP changes it back to
target="_parent"
I have the targetschema set = HTML4.0
I just need to know how to make a hyperlink from a PPS
open in a new window. This should work but its not
staying after a save

What version of PP are you using? 2000? XP? 2003?

By default PP opens links in a new browser window. I have
PP 2003 and it opens urls in new window.
