The first page of internet explorer opens maximized. However link or page
that comes up in a new window is just a tiny bit less than maximized. Could
someone please help me. It also happens if I select to open in new window. I
changed my Comast icon so it would open minimized. I went to properties and
selected it that way. Is there a way to do that for IE6?

I did notice that in my internet explorer folder when I click on internet
explorer.exe that it opens maximized and the shortcut is set to maximized as
well. Just can't figure it out.

your advice didn't work. Like I said if one IE window is open and I click on
a link another window will open to that link and that screen will not be
maximized. The amount is so small that I can barely stretch the screen. I've
tried it and it still opens the same way. Isn't there anything I can do in
regedit or a file I can look for?

To whom are you talking?
You seem to be replying to yourself but as Don and I gave the same
basic advice, I suggest you try again and be absolutely certain that
the stretched window is closed last (after any pop-up or pop-under
windows)

I have made sure that what you suggested was done and it didn't work. So,
now I am asking for another solution. Perhaps a file needs to be edited with
notepad? I have a pop-up blocker as well. I actually know quite a bit about
windows xp. It's just this one stupid problem.

I'm replying to dcdon and Alan Edwards. Are you stupid or something? If you
don't have any input butt out of the thread.

One /usually/ includes previous message in replies, Your Highness, so others
/know/ to whom you're replying. Hey, maybe that's why it's called a thread!
