Open folder on start-up wont go away (XP Home edition)

Ben

I have a problem with a folder that keeps opening on start-up and I can't
work out how to stop it from opening.

I think it started happening after my PC crashed while it was open on the
Desktop.

Anyone who knows how to stop it from happening, your help will be much
appreciated. Do I need to go into my registry to stop it? It is not in the
'Startup' menu in 'Start'.

To find out where an app is starting from go to 'Start' | 'Run' and type
'msconfig' (without the quotes). Go to the startup tab and everything that
starts up will be listed there. This will also show you where to look.
Then go there to delete them. Don't try to do it from msconfig as this is
for diagnostic use only.
