Open File Folder

Each time I boot up, Windows opens an IE window that
displays the contents of one of my drives. I don't know
why this happens, and I can't get it to stop.

Any ideas?

No, the window also opens to display the D: drive. But it sounds like a similar problem to what is described in the article that you referenced
