Open Archive .pst File on Other Computer

Using Outlook XP, I'm able to save emails into an archive file on PC #1,
which I then email to PC #2. When I try to open that file on PC #2, as an
import of the pst file type, it seems to put the right directory structure
for the archive on my list of folders on PC #2, but there are no email
messages showing up. Any ideas?

Is the mail actually in the archive on PC#1? - you've opened the archive on
PC#1 to check?
In PC#2 simply open the archive, do not import.

Yes, I've opened successfully the archive on PC #1 just to make sure there
are messages in it.
