open all files in C:\ when double click a file

When I double click a XLS file in the file explorer, (so that to open that in
Excel). All the files in C:\ drive will be also try to open by Excel, (eg,
..doc, .ppt, and .rar).
 
Go to the Tools menu, choose Options, then the General tab.
There, ensure that "Alternate Startup Location" is blank.
