I've been having this problem every few months that only
system restore can fix. Only the top of some webpages
will show. I noticed while trying to access
http://www.vhnd.net/ ... I saved an image of what it
shows up as here:
http://theblitzrocks.no-ip.com/explorer.gif

I can't use system restore now because i don't got enough
hard drive space and i don't wanna reinstall windows xp
professional

First eliminate any scumware.
See
Dealing with Unwanted Spyware, Parasites, Toolbars and Search Engines

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.
CWShredder is also available here:

Alternative download pages for Ad-Aware, Spybot, HijackThis and CWShredder
may be found on this page:

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.

Try to diagnose what is missing. Does View Source show you
the complete file? E.g. you can see text in there that isn't rendered
and the file *finishes*.

FWIW here is what I saw at the bottom of the source
(bracketed by example tags):
<example------------------------------------>
<!-- End thin blue line -->
</td>
</tr>

</table>
<br>
</body>
</html>
</example------------------------------------>

Also with the source it may be helpful to view the nesting of
the <table> tags. E.g. just do a repeat find of table and see
if the structure is balanced within the document.

Can you see anything more if you do Ctrl-a (Select All)?
(which does a reverse video, in case color is the problem).
FWIW that just allowed me to see some previously hidden text
near the bottom of the page.

For that particular page there are a lot of links interspersed with the text.
Do you notice the links when you Tab through the page? If not, where
does the focus go? For a particular example start at the Address bar
and use Backtab (i.e., Shift-Tab) and see what happens.

Have you tried using the Accessibility options to disable the web site's
choices of Color and Font? (Alt-T,O,Alt-e,...)

Do you have any potentially interfering programs such as ad-suppressors
running? Try temporarily disabling all such programs.

Good luck

I don't have any ad blockers or any firewalls, proxies,
ect.. The source code is identical on both computers
here. When i hit tab several times, the whole page then
turns blank and the web address of the link is shown at
the bottom of the browser as if the mouse was over it or
it was selected. VHND.net isn't the only problem.. i
cannot see text boxes(view the dedicatelive image below)
to log into sites on this computer(i'm using my other
computer to write these messages).
Whatever the problem is, it's affecting tables.

Here's another website i cannot view:

http://fuse.tv/dedicatelive/dedication.php

on my computer it shows up as this:

http://theblitzrocks.no-ip.com/dedicatelive.gif

those little dots are supposed to be text boxes!

Only the top of some webpages will show.

I can't tell if your other example is a new problem or not.
Let's deal with the first one completely first.

However, one new idea which seems to apply to both examples is that
they may render differently if you send them to OE. (e.g. Alt-F,e,P)

I disabled using the site's fonts (alt-t, o, alt-e) and
everything shows up now... How could using the website's
fonts do this though?

That's a question that I have been meaning to research.
The only thoughts that I have had so far are to see if FileMon
(freeware from SysInternals) could be made to show us which
font files are being accessed when the page is rendered.

Then once you had identified which font was being accessed
you would have a clue of which one needed to be replaced.
I think that depending on how fonts are selected (especially
when "a font family" is specified) FileMon might even give us a
clue about fonts we don't have which would have been preferred
selections.

Going just by the page source my guess would be that your
Verdana fonts exist but can't generate all the sizes that are being used.
For a start at checking that possibility I would just open the Fonts
Control Panel applet and see if anything usual happens when you try
to test the Verdana fonts.

Glad to see you at least have found a workaround for your problem.

I'm still curious about this though, since OE does seem to do
some different things with the same source for me:
(e.g. Alt-F,e,P)

Did you try sending the pages to OE and did they render any better there?

It only does it when tables are being used
