when i print from word or excel the only stuff that comes
out is the borders and the text thats in bold. tried
printing to a different printer and same thing happened.
Other people on this network are not having the any
problems. Also autoCAD prints just fine.

I have not heard of this issue before. Does it do it if you change the font or use a non-TrueType font?
Also, does it happen when you print from Notepad or Wordpad? If does not you should post your question again in the
Word, Excel and Office newsgroups, assuming you haven't already.
