my computer has rescently had W32.Spybot.Worm, anyway
since the computer froze one time when i was copying a
data cd from school the colour on all accounts has only
been able to be in Lowest(4 bit) colour quality and
before this crash it was normal.
this is what happened:
the computer froze so i manually restared it and during
the start up it was stopped on a black screen so i
restarted it again and then it came up with something
like 'didnt get to start windows' and 'wanna open in safe
mode? restore to a point when everything worked good?
start normally?' so i said start normally and the black
screen was up again so i tried safe mode, same thing, so
i went with the restore one and my colour has been low
ever since.
when i open my account a pop-up asks if i want to restore
it to normal, i click on that and say yes and nothing
happens. in safe mode the colour is normal. how can i get
back the colour quality? all system restore points have
been deleted.
what can i do?

Reinstall the drivers for your video card. Get the drivers from either
media that came with your computer or the video card mftr.'s website,
*not* from Windows Update.
