only 7 minimized windows viewable

am new to xp. using win98 minimized window would shrink in size as more
windows were opened. xp only allows about 7 windows to be minimized before
going to a single bar. can i have it the old way?
 
Try right clicking the taskbar..properties..and uncheck group similar
taskbar buttons.
