Hi Tyler,

Good to know that you do your own research as well. Are you able to play
video files stored on your computer?

Try this .. re enable all 3rd party extensions. Download ffdshow and install
it on your computer. Let me know if this helps.

Yes I can watch video stored on the HD. I can also watch dvds and video from
cmt and a few other sites. I installed ffdshow and enabled 3rd party
extentions and still have the same problem. the video will start to play and
then i get the explorer must close screen. I have another computer hooked to
the same router and it works fine. could this be somthing as silly as a video
card going bad? THANKS

Hi Tyler,

No this problem does not seem to be with your video card because you are
able to view the same kind of stuff locally and on other websites as well.
Though, this has something to do with the operating system files. Try this:

Boot your computer in safe mode with network support. To do this start your
computer up and once you hear the initial beep sound start tapping the F8 key
on the keyboard till you get the windows xp advanced boot options screen.
Choose the safe mode with network support option there and then try and
browse these websites.

Tell me if this works.
