Online Refund!

I recently bought an item online through an online retailer.
The order was paid for and my debit card deducted.
The retailer emailed me to say the item had been dispatched.
7 days later no item & i email them and state i would like a refund.
1 hour later a full refund is given, no questions asked.

So did the retailer ever have the item?
Did they ever post the item to me?
Or are they worried about negative feedback?
All very strange, but i will never buy from the un-named retailer again!!

Some people are just better at refunds than others. And the longer the retailer has your money, the more interest they draw on it.
