One Workbook hangs Excel 2000

I have one workbook that will not open in Excel 2000 and hangs Excel when
it's attempting to open. I have deleted the workbook and restored it from
backup with no success. The file works fine on my Compaq Ipaq Pocket PC but
will not work on the Desktop Excel. I have run the repair utility in the help
file with no change. I uninstalled MS Office 2000, reinstalled it and all the
updates and it still hangs when attempting to open on my desktop computer.

Any help getting this important workbook to open will be appreciated.

I'm running Windows XP Professional on an HP Presario with 3.06 Gh Pentium
4, 500Mb ram.

I fixed my own problem. Thank you anyway! I remembered I had a copy of the
workbook backed up on a CD and it worked fine when I copied it. One can
never have too many backups it seems!!
