I have a user who cannot login to one particular website using IE. When she
does, she gets the "IE has encountered a problem and needs to shut down"
error.
She previously had malware on her computer which was redirecting any login
info she used to another website. The malware has been removed and she can
login to any other website with no difficulties. She can login to this
website from other computers, and other users can login to this site from her
computer. It is only this particular user on this particular computer with
this particular website while using IE. She has no problems while using
FireFox.
Is there anything that can be done short of repairing XP (this would cause a
whole slew of problems for us, since we use customized images for all
computers)? Is IE so tied to the OS that it cannot be uninstalled/reinstalled?
Thanks!
