Paul

I look several times per day at www.tealoint.com, a Palm
software company who I do a lot of business with. 3 weeks
ago their page wouldn't load unless I DISABLED my internet
connection and then RE-ENABLED it. All others load fine,
links are fine. I checked ssl, tcl, and anything else I
thought would help, including reducing security level.

Now it will not open the page EVEN IF I DISABLE and ENABLE
my internet connection (RoadRunner, automatically connects
on PC startup). My firewall is not set to "block"
anything to do with Tealpoint's site.

Can anyone offer a suggestion how to A) fix it, or B) find
an alternate "link" no matter how "round-a-bout," that
would connect me regularly without hassles? THANKS, and
feel free to email me directly at (e-mail address removed).

Take care all!!

check your security settings - if you are using Norton IS, temporarily
disable it, close the browser (important), start a new one and see if
that's the problem. If so, you have to go into it and change things.

Hi Paul - Give the following a try, testing after each step and stopping as
soon as you are successful.

1. Shut down your machine and then turn off power (or disconnect the power)
to your cable modem. Leave the modem off for at least 20 minutes, then
re-apply power and re-boot.

Test, and if no help, then:

2. After booting up, open a Cmd window and type the following with a Return
after each line:

ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /registerdns

Test, and if no help, then:

3. Go to Start|Run and enter "regsvr32 urlmon.dll" (without the quotes).
After you get a Success message, re-boot. If that doesn't work, then check
out the following article and do the additional steps outlined there:

See if this helps.
