One of the strangest networking issues I've ever had

Hello Everyone,

I'm so frustrated... I have a laptop that will not access the network
or the outside, other than ping. There is no firewall configured on
the system. It has both a network card and a wireless card. Both are
doing the same thing.

I can no problem ping any computer on my lan, or any computer on the
internet.. If i try to telnet or http to anything nothing comes up.
Telnet goes through the process of connecting but I just get a black
screen.

I tried so far deleting the winsock and winsock 2 from the registry,
reinstalling the tcp/ip protocol, rebuilding the hosts file, flushing
the dns (although this really doesn't have anything to do with
that)...

Any help would be tremendously appreciated...

Thanks in advance..
