The idea of even one important email ending up in the junk mail folder and
being missed for even a few minutes is unthinkable in business. I'm normally
a Microsoft fan but this is difficult for me to understand. We have to have
a way to definitively turn off the junky junk mail feature/creature.

If you are using Outlook 2003 or 2007, then go to Actions-Junk Mail-Junk
Mail options and select "No filtering". There, that wasn't hard, was it?
