Olympus C-350

Hi,

I have a brand new Olympus Camedia C-350 Zoom digital
camera. It is according to the manual totally Windows XP
compatible but it is not listed on Microsoft's list on
compatible digital cameras???

My problem is that I could connect it in the beginning
succesfully to my PC via the USB port. After installing
some security pathes the PC says "Unknown Device" when I
try to connect it to the USB port. My other PC (with
Windows 2000) connects the camera OK.

Any ideaes to get my XP to recognice the camera again?

Having the same problem. Spoke to Olympus European support; they are
aware of it, but can't reproduce it in their test labs.
All I can suggest is to keep trying - mine normally connects after
several attempts (connect, unplug, remove and replace batteries,
connect again..).
Are you using an AMD processor by any chance? Olympus say that it's
not connected to AMD processers as they test OK in their labs, but
from what I've seen in various foums, most users with this problem are
operating AMD platforms.
