Olympus c750uz Digital camera

Microsoft picture it will not locate my Digital Camaera in open and edit when clicking on 'Digital Camera the pc does not find the camera, an OlympusC750UZ Digital.
I can only download with Olympus Camedia software.
Any help would be most welcome plewase.

Picture It! does not recognize all digital
cameras. With Picture It! open and your
camera connected...go to...File / Open...
and check the "Look For Items" drop window
to see if the camera is listed as a drive.
If it is, you can download your images.

Downloading and installing the most recent
twain driver for your camera from the website
of your camera manufacturer might help.

Another possibility would be to purchase a
USB memory card reader. It should be
recognized as a drive in Picture It! at...File /
Open. Also, a card reader should download
the image files faster and won't drain your
camera's batteries.

I feel that the best/safest method is to down
load to a folder on my hard drive and then
open the folder in Picture It!. This way, if I
save the edited images under a different
name and/or in a different folder...I retain the
original unedited images which I always burn
to a CD.
