OLE function id preventing me from saving a Word Document

A have a Word document that I pasted some pictures from acrobat and Visio
into it. I am nopw trying to sabve the document as a Word doc. When I did
so, it intially came up as an open window in .pdf. Now I get a reply that
says "Word is waiting another application to complete an OLE action". None
of the Pull-down Menu's are functioning, cannot pull down any selections.
Suggestions?

Ctrl+Alt+Delete then end process in the task manager.

From the sound of it, you didn't paste true pictures from Adobe, but some kind
of Adobe functionality. When you try this again, use Edit/Paste Special and be
sure to choose a picture format.
