Old XP Pro HD/New PC - Lost app reg's

Just upgraded m/b, CPU etc. Shop did reinstall of XP Pro
on existing HD so that Windows would boot properly.
However, have lost access to many prog's that are still
installed. Assume lost reg's in install.

Anywhere I should be looking to reinstall these. Found
many files 'hidden' initially - somewhere in these? or
have to fresh installs of all app's?
