Folks,
This has to be an easy one . but I'm baffled and
frustrated.. . .
I just installed XP upgrade. Where is everything? where
are my old programs and settings? I just assumed that all
my old settings woud automatically be imported into XP
from Windows 98. But that didn't happen. I click on
outlook express, and my connection no longer exist.
Sorry, but I don't know all the connection info by heart
to re-create a new onnection to my server. I assumed XP
would simply import them into this new version of
express.
Where are my "favorites" in Explorer? Do I need to
recreate them all? Again, I assumed they would
automatically be imported into the XP explorer (as always
happened with updates). Do I need to search for every
program and then right click and send to desktop?
