Had to reload XP and updates and now when I open 'windows explorer' the
'my documents' folder will auto open. I remember there being a simple
fix, but my memory recall system is not what it used to be. Any help is
appreciate of course.
TIA

To open Windows Explorer to an expanded C Drive:

Create a shortcut on the Desktop for Windows Explorer. Right Click |
Properties | Target Field. Add a space and then:

/e, c:\

The Target should read:

%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /e, c:\

Windows Explorer will now open to the C Drive instead of My Documents.

Tom, thanks for the response, after trying several others, I would
have to agree with you. This is what I am now using.

Thanks to all who gave such good and quick responses.

All you really need is %SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /n,/e,C:\ The only space
should be between the .exe and the /n There should be no other spaces.
