Old pc,laptop

Am sick of mags slagging off basic pc or laptop.

We all have,nt got money to burn to buy a 700 pounds pc or 1,000 laptop.

Look at this:

1.4gb,512 ram DDR 2
Poor graphic
Good souncard

Ok so these spec will not play today games.

But you can do alot with a pc or laptop with these spec.

A low income family would love to have a old pc to go on the net.


A freind of mine got a old pc last year with the spec:

450hmz,128 min ram,Voo do 2 card ,Windows me


He was made up with it for 50 pounds.

Even these low end spec pc have a good point.

I have a P2 233 with 32MB RAM
It has Win 98SE & i even managed to get Win 2000 installed on it.
The battery last's up to 2 hours and the CD-ROM reads CD-R & CD-RW discs.
OK for Word, Excel & Access and i can play a few old games on it
