Anybody out there own the HP DeskJet 712C printer? If so, does it
work with Windows XP Home? If it does work, did you have to download
updated drivers?

All that link did was bring up a search engine. I tried using it
with keywords XP, 712C, but it didn't really answer my question. Too much
stuff to browse thru. Oh well. If the printer doesn't work, I'll just get
another one.

That is the 2nd link with this thread that doesn't work for me. All
it does it bring up a search engine.

That is because you must use copy and paste to get the ENTIRE link into the
address box. Because of word wrap, it cuts the address off...you must copy
everything after .html and add it on to the end of the part that appears in
the address block when you click on the link.

Yeah, I noticed that, but when I copied the entire URL and tried to
paste it into my IE address bar, only the first half was copied. Weird.
Irregardless, I've got my question answered already.

I have a deskjet 820 Cxi tryin to use it with Win XP
Pro. It randomly stops printing in the middle of the
page. I need help with this also. Did you find a
solution?

Have you tried going to:

http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/eng/support.html

Then select: See support or troubleshooting information, then typing:
DeskJet 820 CXI, then click the >>
I browsed through the information. One thing that might pertain to your
problem is to reinstall the driver for the printer. I only casually glanced
though the troubleshooting. So, there might be something else there that
might fix the problem.
