Old Drivers Uninstall

I have read on a few post about uninstalling old drivers before installing
new ones. Let's say I have this G4 Ti4200 I am going to retire for an ATI
card. I know I can uninstall the Nvidia drivers from the add/remove control
panel in Windows, but is that good enough? Is there still old file residue
handing around? Or is this something I shouldn't even be worried about? My
main question is, is add/remove in Windows good enough? Thanks.

That should be enough. After you do the un install do a search for nv*.*
Remove what ever come up. I just did exactly that (I also had a 4200) just
last week and add/remove removed it all. Have fun with your new card! JLC

Uhmm, yeah, install the crap for .NET, to run a program to remove old
drivers and stuff, that makes sense.

it is floating around in my state now. So maybe today. If so, I feel like I
am getting too sick to go to work tomorrow. *cough*
