OL2k3 Outbox Msg Stuck - Can't Delete

Outlook 2k3 sp1 has large (13MB) message stuck in outbox.
Cannot delete it.
Outlook has an Exchange 2k3 sp1 account.
Send is via POP3 account.

When trying to delete the message, system refuses with "unable"
message.

What can we do? I've tried killing the immediate send option but no
help.

Clues appreciated.
