OL2003 Newsgroup Reader

I just recently upgraded to OL2003 from OL2002. I am trying to access the
newsgroups through OL2003. In the online help it says to click on the
standard tool bar options, click add/remove buttons, customize, click on
commands (go) and then on the right pane to select "news" button and then
drag it to the Go menu in the tool bar. However, when I click under
commands on go, there is no News option listed in the right pane. Can
anyone suggest how I might get this option to appear? I would greatly
appreciate any help that anyone might provide. Currently I have to use my
OL Express to access the newsgroups.
Thanks,
James

And that is what getting the news command will get you too.

OE is the newreader that Outlook uses.

You will still be using OE.
To get the News command back, go back to the Programs tab in Control Panel |
Internet Options and change the default newsreader to Outlook Express. If
OE prompts you to make it your default newsreader the next time you launch
it, clear the "Always perform this check..." box and then click the No
button.

Russ,

I understood that I would still be using OLE for news, however I was just
trying to put the command back in OL2003. This step would eliminate me
having to click on the OE icon and open it separately. Thank you very much
for your help as it resolved my question.
