Do not deliver before option

I have upgraded from OL2000 to OL2003 on Exchange 2003.

Is it true with OL2003 "do not deliver before" option you have to be logged
into Outlook for this to work? As I am sure as a user I have been logged out
and it has worked.

Can anyone clarify how the "do not deliver before" option works please on
OL2003 using Exchange 2003?

If you are using an Exchange server for your mailbox, then Outlook does not
have to be running when the delivery time arrives because Exchange is the
delivery agent. If you are not using Exchange, then Outlook must be
running.

I have tested this with our Exchange server and it does not seem to work it
just sits in my Outbox. Are there any suggestions you can make as what
settings I would need to check as a user or on Exchange please? Any
assistance or suggestions gratefully received.

I'm not an Exchange expert, I'm afraid. You might consider asking in
microsoft.public.exchange.admin
