OL2003: Can not open file (hyperlink) from email

Hello all,

This change must've occured in OL 2003.......I think I could do it in OL
2002.

When composing emails to my boss, I in insert hyperlinks to files on our
network. If I hold down [Ctrl] and click the link, I get "Cannot open
specified file". When I click on the link in a recieved email, I get
"Cannot find file '\\server\share\path\file.ext'. Make sure path or Internet
address is correct". When I hover my mouse over the link, I get this
tooltip: "blocked::file://server/share/path/file.ext".

How do I unblock these files so I can open them by clicking on them?

Tools, options, Security, Change auto download settings, uncheck "Don't
download.......etc."
 
NEVER MIND!!!! My boss renamed the file, that is why it wasn't opening.
