Hi, I used to be able to sync my hotmail account in
Outlook2002. Then I revmoved it later. Now, I tried to
add Hotmail again, and I got below errors when try
to "Update Folder List", "Send/Receive", or "Synchronize".
I searched the Knowledge Base with no possible match. Can
you help? Please help. thanks.

Task 'Hotmail: Folder:Inbox Synchronizing headers.'
reported error (0x800CCCF4) : 'An unknown error has
occurred. Please save any existing work and restart the
program.'

Task 'Hotmail: Downloading folder list. ' reported error
(0x800CCCF4) : 'An unknown error has occurred. Please save
any existing work and restart the program.'

All of Microsoft is experiencing latency problems this week. Try it again
next week. Until then, use the Web view.

This typically happens because there is an HTTP proxy server between you and
the Hotmail servers that doesn't understand the WebDAV protocol. Are you
trying to do this from work? That would be the typical place where such a
proxy would be installed...

Hi Jeff,

thanks! You are right, it was the proxy's problem. Now
it's working.

Thanks so much.
