OL2000 cannot open attachments

Outlook 2000 I am unable to open *.exe and many other attachmens to my
emails. Win XP

Is there a workaround to this?

Ther is a program that can make these available by setting some
registry keys. The security updates did this to you to protect you
from yourself!
I can't remember the name but if you search Google for Outlook
Attachments Security etc, you will find it. It is different for
different versions for Outlook too.


The other way is to get them with Outlook Express which does not do
that.
 
Thanks for the patch. Didn't work as needs SP3 installed. I installed SP1
but could not get SP2 to install.

Any thoughts?
