others. The guys in the pocket pc forum should be able to give you more
information on the problem and let you know if any fixes are available.

Here is what I have found. The birthdays were keyed on the Vista machine.
When they are synced with the handheld they are transferred correctly --
that
is they appear as occuring each year. On the next sync the ones on Vista
are
changed to every 12 years. additional syncs do not change either the
handheld
or the Vista machine.
This has destroyed a tremendous amount of work that I have accumulated
over
many years. [I have hundreds of birthdays!].
I was not able to find a reference to the MS update you referred to nor
any
similar forum entry.
