Ok, does GMA950 support Aero Glass, or not

Now that Vista is done and RTM, can someone who has the RTM version and
a laptop with GMA950 answer one question: Does Vista (Home Premium or
higher) support Aero Glass on a laptop with GMA950 video? Specifically,
I need to know about two laptops:

-Toshiba A105 series with GMA950 (some configurations have other video
systems)

-Dell E1505 (aka Inspiron 6400) with GMA950 video (again, some
configurations of this model have other video systems)

The question presumes that the laptops in question have [exactly] one
gigabyte of physical memory installed (two 512MB modules operating in
dual channel mode]. I guess that there is some slight chance that it
won't work with 1 GB but will work with 2 GB, and if that's the case I'd
like to know it.

The question relates to the official RTM version "out of the box" with
no additional drivers. But if you were only able to get it to work with
additional drivers, I'd like to know what drivers and where they can be
downloaded.

Purchase decisions depend on the answer to this question, so I'd like to
know that the answers are correct (I've been asking this question for
months, and have never gotten an answer that was absolutely, 100.0%
definite and certain).

Barry,

According to Intel, it SHOULD support Aero Glass, as it is a DirectX 9.0
hardware device that supports shading.
That being said, until Intel releases fully Vista compatible drivers, you
may not be in full luck.

The last drivers released were sent out on the 3rd of this month, which
means they still may not be RTM.

Keep checking Intel's site.

According to this page there will be no Aero support for the Intel GMA 900.
I don't know if that includes the Intel GMA 950 as part of the series.

Yes, the Intel GMA 950 does support Windows Aero. It is previous chipsets
(such as the 915) which do not.

I can confirm that Aero is enabled out-of-the-box on a Dell Latitude D620
with 2 GB of RAM. This laptop uses the Intel 945GM chipset, which has
GMA950 graphics.

Haven't tried it with 1 GB.
