Offline Folders disconnect at random

I have the most bizzare problem. Two users in the office I
work in have centrino laptops running XP pro SVP1. They
both use offline folders. They login to the Domain fine.
But after some use , and with out warning, all network
connections are suddenly droped. Outlook/exchange still
run fine. Internet access fine. But network share access
completely disrupted. I've tried pluging them in different
points. Even when they work remotley using VPN it happens.
Some days a worse than others. I've no idea. Nothing
appears in event viewer either. I've looked all over the
place but found no real answer HELP!!!

It won't help much probably, but we are facing the same problem. What we found out is, that the network connection is lost also if we don't enable offline folders. But then the only way to realize is, that our Access2000 applications loose connection to the back-end-database. So far we haven't found any solution in any of the official newsgroups

Thanks for the reply. Both laptops are sony centrino's.
These are the only ones doing it. We have windows 2000
machines and laptops that don't have this problem. If i
find anything I will post it.
