Offline files vs Briefcase

Hello, i was just wondering, what the pros and cons were of using offline files as opposed to briefcase? we've had a few problems that some files revert back to an earlier version (possibly after synchronisation using briefcase?) even though the newer version was recent (as in date modified)??

OT, but I have had too manyproblems with both Offline Files and
Briefcase....if you have too many nested subfolders, it can cause problems -
if the source/server changes, it can cause problems. I am much happier with
a third party product - www.centered.com - they have a 30 day eval. This
product is part of my standard laptop build for all my clients now.... I
have no affiliation with the company, just like their product.
