Which Office product is most compatible with windows 2000
used on a network? My "computer guy" says not to put
Office XP on the system. Is that true? Is Office 2003 any
better?

You need a new "computer guy", your current one suffers brain corruption.
Happens alla time. There's no reason in the world NOT to put Office XP
(Office 2002) on your system. But, if you're buying new software, why not go
with the latest and greatest, Office 2003?

Greetings --

Your "computer guy" apparently has an irrational fear of progress.
I can verify from long experience that Office 2000 and Office XP both
work flawlessly with Win2K. Office 2003 is also Win2K-compatible (SP3
or above), but I haven't had occasion to try it on a Win2K box, yet.

Win 2K works fine with Office XP: I have it on 150 computers both laptops and desktops
