Office XP Activation

Hi, I'm from Malta and i can't seem to be able to
activate by phone. However my dad's PC has Internet
Access and i was wondering whether i can use his PC to
contact Microsoft and get the activation code.

Is this possible?

There are only two ways to activate:
1. Activate by phone
2. Internet activation using the computer that needs activation.
You can not activate your computer from his computer.

But there is no toll-free number to call from. Am i
expected to fork out the phone bill for 5 minutes on the
bad telephone line to Lebanon??? (which is the
recommended country to call)

If there is no toll free number in that area, you must pay.
Or you could do as Carey suggests, take the computer to a location
that has internet access.
