Office Word 2007 beta wont save docs or open!

I've just run the latest Beta 2 Technical Refresh and now Office Word 2007
beta wont open any documents or save any either.

I select the main icon, top left, click on 'Save', it gives me the option of
which format to save as and then nothing happens. When I go to close Word it
asks if I want to save the changes to document 1 and when selecting 'Yes'
again nothing happens.

Have tried selcting 'Open' and no box to navigate to docs appears.

Thanks very much for your response.

I have read your site and can confirm that I am not running Nortons
Anti-Virus.

I have installed the CA Security Center Anti-Virus for Windows Vista Beta
users. I have tried turning this off but the problem of opening and saving
still exists.

P.S. Might it be that I haven't got RC1 installed yet?

I've got the Windows Vista beta and have ordered the RC1 disk which should
be here in a few days.

Excuse my tech' ignorance!

You are running Office 2007 B2TR on Vista Beta 2?
That's a recipe for disaster. Only Office Beta 2 is supported under
Vista Beta 2. B2TR requires Vista RC1. See my B2TR page on that.
