Office Pro 2007

I have a computer with Office Pro 2007 preinstalled and have no disk. I want
to use the program on a different computer and remove it from the original. I
tried to download a free trial version and then upgrade with a purchased
authorization key (the one I have for the preinstalled software) but it says
that it is not valid. How can I authorize this software on the computer that
I want to use it on? Do I have to remove it from the original computer first?

Thanks,
DB

If you have an "OEM version" that came preinstalled on the computer, it is
licensed only for use on the computer on which it was installed, and cannot
be transferred to another machine, if I understand the license correctly --
however, licensing issues should be addressed directly with Microsoft, as no
one here can "speak for Microsoft" on that matter.
