How do I get rid of the MS Office auto hide bar? I really dislike having it appear
when my cursor goes near the edge of the screen.

Easy, left click on the left hand side of the bar and select, "exit" and it
will ask you if you want to continue to load the sidebar on start up. Click
on "no".
