There wasn't an area in the drop down menu that sounded right so hopefully
someone here can help me...I have vista ultimate...I have office home and
student 2007...it will not install on my vista...something about the
bootlog...so I tried manual...still will not install...I set up a virtual
machene with xp but cant work out how to get it to go on the net properly and
so cannot activate windows and ask for help in the tech section as they want
the activation number(not the key)...cant give that until its installed...see
the circle I am going in?

I need the office stuff for my uni stuff I need it installed...preferably on
the main machine which has vista...can any one help please?

You might try right clicking the install file, and select "Run as
Administrator". You are probably running as a standard user, and not able to
install software. Vista and Office 2007 work great together. Let us know if
that doesn't work so we can get you up and going so you don't miss any
assignment deadlines!

I am running it as the admin...to double check I right clicked the install
file and the same nothing happens. to verify...I right click on my dvd/cd
drive (it's a combo)...I click open...I go to the bottom graphic which says
set up...I right click and it says run as administrator.
