Remove Vista from one computer to install on another

Hi all

I've seen Vista Techs post here so I'm hoping this will get answered here. I
build computers, some for my own use some for others or my office. I have 2
OEM versions of Vista 1 Ultimate /1 Home Premium. I built 2 computers for
others that are different in Proccessor power & Per. ect. I installed
Ultimate on the wrong machine and it has been activated. How can I
de-activate it so I can install it on the right machine? Home Premium will
then be installed on the machine I installed Ultimate on.

Thx Mike G.

Best thing you can do is call the activation line at Microsoft and tell them
what you did. They will probably give you another activation if you attest
to what you wrote here.

You can't deactivate it. If you have difficulty reactivating after making
the swap, call Microsoft and explain your mistake, I would think they will
be able to help, we all make mistakes.
