How to install Office 97 on XP :

IMHO, use an administrative account. That should result in all users
having access to the app. (If you don't want everygody to have access,
I guess install from one of the accounts you do want to have access.
Then copy the shortcuts from that account to the others you want to be
able to use it.) AFAIK, no special precautions need to be taken.
