Office 2007: Getting the Slides/Outline Pane back

D

dplmartin

Hi,

While working on a presentation, I accidentally closed the Slides/
Outline pane. I actually find it very useful and wanted it back on.
Can I find the checkbox to turn it back on? No.

I probably can't see the wood for the trees but I've searched
everywhere and can't find it. Worse, Powerpoint saves the preference
with the file, so every other presentation opens with it except the
one where I closed it.

Does anyone know where you tell Powerpoint to turn this feature back
on?

Cheers.

Hi Dominic,

Down at the bottom, right hand side is a little "normal" icon. Click it and
the view will come back. Else, click the "View" tab on the Ribbon and
re-click on the "Normal" button (part of the "Presentation Views" group),
even if it is already selected.
